Welcome to the Hawai`i Innocence Project
Home Page.
The Hawai`i
Innocence Project
operates as a cooperative effort of the University of Hawai`i's William S. Richardson School of Law and the
California Western
School of Law.
The Hawai`i Innocence Project is not for profit; it exists for
the purposes of providing free representation to persons wrongly
convicted of crime and still incarcerated, who have a credible claim of
actual innocence. All work on Hawai`i matters is handled in Hawai`i by
Hawai`i attorneys and student volunteers supervised by those attorneys.
For some news stories about the Hawai`i Innocence project, see
